Blanche v. Perlmutter
On Nov. 26, 2025, the court deferred action on the application for stay pending oral argument in Trump v. Slaughter and Trump v. Cook. Justice Thomas noted that he would grant the application.
Issue: Whether the Supreme Court should pause an order that temporarily reinstated the top U.S. copyright official after her firing earlier this year.
